Top Trumps
Top trumps is a great way for pupils to understand the value of numbers. You can supply the students with categories or allow the students to make up their own. The students then have to give a number to each character/event for each category. The larger the number the better.
For Example
English with characters (eg power/weakness)
History with key events (impact events had on the economy, population and living standards)
